Rooms are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open plan design. Book your pet into the hotel for free in the luxury suites or pay a small £20 fee per night per dog in the standard rooms. Pet facilities include a doggie bed, water bowl, and a pet-friendly dinner menu.
You can order room service, but Captain’s Club Hotel & Spa’s award-winning spa and restaurant are worth leaving your room for. You don’t have to leave your pet in the room while you dine, as both the hotel lounge and quay bar are pet-friendly.

Summer Lodge Country House Hotel, Evershot
Summer Lodge Country House is a luxurious escape for the whole family: a Gregorian manor with over four acres of gardens, set within the picturesque village of Evershot. It’s also one of the best spa hotels in Dorset.
Dogs are more than welcome here! There are dog beds available in three sizes, a dog-wash station, ‘Lily’s Kitchen’ dog food available on request, and ample space to run around on the extensive grounds. The Grosvenor Arms, Shaftesbury
Shaftesbury is one of the prettiest villages in Dorset. One walk up the cobbled streets of Gold Hill, among the thatched roofs and winding plants on the stone houses, and you’ll see why! The view from the top of the hill overlooks the whole of magnificent Dorset.

The Bridge House, Bridport
The Bridge House manages to breathe new life into an old building without losing its original charm. This grade II listed Georgian Town House was built in 1786; today, it’s a 4-star pet-friendly hotel on the riverside.
Your pups will love it, too! There’s ample running space in the garden and several walking trails nearby. The snug rooms, board games, puzzles, and dim lighting give rooms a charming, homely feeling. Dogs are charged £10 per night with a maximum of £30. This includes a pet bowl, dog bed, and some treats.
St. Leonards Hotel by Greene King Inns, Saint Leonards
St Leonards Hotel is a dog-friendly pub accommodation in the small village of St Leonards, near Bournemouth. The pub is a favourite among locals, serving a selection of British cuisine and ales. Rooms are simple, modern, and airy., overlooking the large garden and courtyard.
