Whether you’re looking for the perfect pumpkin to carve for Halloween or a cosy Autumn Instagram photo, there are plenty of farms running PYO patches this year. Many are also hosting mini-festivals or special events!

Pick your own pumpkins, take a ride on the Halloween Express, and find your way through the spooky Maize Maze. After dark, there’s a special Scare Maze on select evenings, and several creative craft workshops including pumpkin carving.

Visit the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin – open throughout October! There’s also a Pumpkin Fest across two weekends and on Halloween itself, with craft activities, live music, food and drink stalls, and plenty of family fun.

Following the success of last year’s event, the popular Pumpkin Rolling returns this October half term, giving families the chance to enjoy a seasonal tradition in the Abbey’s picturesque grounds.
Participants roll their pumpkins down the gentle slope towards the Bottom Lawn, aiming to see whose pumpkin travels the furthest. Once the rolling is complete, you are welcome to take your pumpkins home for Halloween carving or seasonal displays.
